Director

Daniel Billio is a screenwriter and director of documentaries and non-fiction tv shows, with projects for several TV stations, as TV Cultura, Fashion TV, Discovery Channel, Sportv/Combate, HBO, Canal Futura and TV Globo.
In his works, he likes to tell extraordinary stories lived by ordinary people, them being in illegal mining in the Colombian jungle, in a Carioca favela or in the backstage of the Paris Fashion Week.
In 2013, one of his documentaries, “Tragédia em Santa Maria”, about the fire in Boate Kiss, produced by Mixer for the Discovery Latin America, was awarded at the NY Festival in the “Current Affairs” category.
He also develops, writes and/or directs Branded Content projects and has already worked on successful projects for companies as Cadbury-Adams, Votorantim, Bradesco, TAM and Boticário.
