Based in a real story, Corações Sujos shows the transformation a Japanese immigrant goes through at a moment when immigrants were repressed and segregated in the State of São Paulo. Takahashi owns a small photo store and is married to Miyuki, a first-grade teacher; he goes from common man to murderer while his wife struggles in vain against fate.
